2. Google Analytics

Our websites use Google Analytics with the extension “anonymizeIp”, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (hereinafter “Google”). As a result, IP addresses are shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area before further processing. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. This excludes any direct personal reference.

To the extent that the data collected about you is personally identifiable, this is immediately excluded and the personal data is deleted without delay. The legal basis for our use of Google Analytics is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR. 3. Matomo (formerly Piwik)

This website uses Matomo (formerly Piwik), an open-source web analytics tool (https://matomo.org), to collect and store data for marketing and optimization purposes. Usage profiles can be created from this data under a pseudonym. Cookies may be used for this purpose.

Cookies are small text files that are stored locally in the cache of the visitor’s internet browser and allow recognition of the browser. 4. Social Media

We do not use so-called social media plugins. However, we provide links on our website to our profiles on social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, XING and LinkedIn. By clicking on the respective logo or name, you will be redirected to our profile on the relevant platform.

No personal data is transmitted to the social networks before you click the link. Data may only be transferred once you leave our website and access the respective platform. We have no influence on the data collected and processing operations of the social networks.

5. Integration of Vimeo videos

Our website includes videos hosted on the video platform https://www.vimeo.com, which can be played directly from our website. When you access a page with an embedded Vimeo video, a connection is established to Vimeo’s servers in the USA.

Vimeo may receive information about which page you have visited. If you are logged into Vimeo, this information may be associated with your user account.
